Terms and Conditions for Free Samples

Monteiro Fabrics is pleased to offer free samples to support professional and commercial projects. Please read the following terms carefully before submitting your request:

1. Eligibility

Free samples are available exclusively for B2B (business-to-business) purposes.
To process your request, it is mandatory to include your company name. Requests without a valid business name may not be fulfilled.

2. Delivery Time

Samples are shipped from our facilities in Portugal and can take between 7 to 22 working days for delivery, depending on your location and local customs handling.

If you have not received your samples within 22 days, please contact us at 📧 marketing@monteirofabrics. com for assistance.

3. Returns

Please note that samples are provided free of charge and are therefore non-returnable. We do not accept returns or exchanges of samples under any circumstances.

4. Limitations

We reserve the right to limit the number of free samples provided per request or per customer, based on availability and project relevance.

5. Use of Samples

Samples are provided for reference only. While we aim to ensure accuracy in colour, texture and finish, minor variations may occur between the sample and final production, depending on batch and production timing. We do not recommend using samples as final production material.

Terms and Conditions for Orders

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Monteiro Fabrics unless otherwise agreed in writing. By placing an order, the Buyer accepts these Terms in full. Any conflicting terms will only apply if expressly accepted by Monteiro Fabrics in writing.

1. Orders

All orders placed by the Buyer are considered binding.
Once we issue the Order Confirmation, the Buyer has 48 working hours to raise any objections. After this period, the order is considered final and cannot be cancelled.
The delivery date refers to the shipment date from our facilities in Portugal.
While we strive to meet estimated shipment dates, they are non-binding and provided as a reference only.
Monteiro Fabrics is not liable for delays outside of our control.
If the Buyer refuses or fails to accept delivery, full payment will still be required.
Delivered quantities may vary by ±10%. If the variation exceeds this tolerance, we will request client approval before shipping.
Colour variation may occur between batches. We do not recommend mixing batches in the same project.

2. Packaging

Standard Roll Width: 140 cm
Roll Length: 25 to 35 linear meters
Average Weight per Roll: 25–30 kg

3. Faults, Damages & Returns

All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery.
Any visible damage should be reported at the time of delivery and signed on the shipping documents with reservations.
Damages reported after delivery without reservation may not be covered by transport insurance.
Defects are clearly tagged and limited to a maximum of 3 per roll. Multiple defects less than 50 cm apart are counted as 1 defect.
Claims must be approved in writing before any product is returned.
Special orders and productions are non-returnable.
For approved returns, a 20% handling fee applies.

4. Product Specifications

Monteiro Fabrics guarantees that products meet the specifications stated in the corresponding technical datasheets.
Care & Cleaning instructions, as well as product warranties, are provided with each order.
